About the record
Issa Veld spent the winter of 2023 negotiating after-hours access to seven municipal buildings in Rotterdam. "Iso/Static" is the album she made there — long, looping, almost-still pieces built from contact-mic recordings of foyer plants, closed-loop ventilation systems, and the occasional accidental conversation.
