About the record
Halden Vire's third album for the label is her longest, slowest and most domestic — fourteen pieces for upright piano, harmonium, tape and the occasional foghorn. Recorded across three winters in a disused ferry terminal outside Oslo, "Slow Hours in Glass Houses" is the sound of someone allowing herself to take her time.
