About the record
Émile Roy was nineteen when he sent the label a memory stick wrapped in a hand-drawn map of his bedroom. "First Atlas" — the resulting album — is fourteen short pieces for piano, tape hiss and an inherited music box. None of them are longer than three minutes. Some of them are barely there at all.
