Biography
Aria Machina (Sofia Marín) builds her work from a single starting point — a phrase, a recording, a half-remembered conversation — and then plays it against the wall of her studio until it answers back. Her debut for the label, "Engine Room", was tracked over six weeks in a former turbine hall in Greenpoint, with a borrowed Buchla 200e and a single condenser microphone.
